E3, J1, J2, I1, I2, H1,H2N, H2S, K, L, MNONOSORRY! Northern New Hampshire Guide Services does not offer guided moose hunts in these zones. That would not be very “Northern” would it?
A2YESYESA2 has been a very productive zone for Northern NH Guide Services. Being one of the most remote and northern most zones, A2 has lots of land for the big bulls to roam.
A1YESYESA1 seems to be a popular choice for moose hunters. Plentiful moose opportunities abound in this area. Limited OHRV access however handicaps hunters for moose removal in this area.
BYESYESWMU B is a prime zone for large tracts of logging operations dotted by ponds, marshes and other prime moose habitat. Access is good but, use a guide to get you into those unseen areas for a trophy here.
C2YESYESDon’t let C2 fool you! What a great zone for opportunties at some premier moose habitat. Good access and long views wil help you here. Don’t be shy to get out and walk some of these prime cuttings.
C1
C1YESYESThere are city moose in them hills! Not really. Located just north of the City of Berlin, C1 has good access (if you have permission for some of the best gated areas! *Note: “We Do!” ) with some of the largest moose roaming these parts. The largest bull taken in the 2009 season was taken in this zone.
D1YESNOD1 can be a tough zone if you don’t know where to go. It is a bit off the beaten path for us but, we have consistently taken moose on a privately owned piece of land with exclusive access for NNHGS Moose Hunters.
D2YESNOMuch like D1, it is off the beaten path a bit but, we have exclusive access to prime moose territory for NNHGS clients.
GYESNOGee WMU “G” can be a good zone. A bit south for us but, we have been successful leading moose hunters to their trophies in this zone.
FYESNOThe large tracts of White Mountain National Forest make this zone a challenge. Pockets of private land offer some good opportunities if you know where to look.
E2YESNOE2, much like E1 and F, are covered mostly by the WMNF. Tough hunting. We’ve got a few secret spots here off of WMNF that have been prodictive in the past.
E1YESNOYou didn’t really want to hunt moose here did you? We’ll do it but, this zone is mostly all National Forest and is centered on the Presidential Range. Expect to put your time in here.
